Job summary

State Farm is seeking a Licensed Insurance Agent (P&C, L&H) for an in-office role in Hilliard, OH. You will develop leads, schedule appointments, and tailor insurance solutions including property, casualty, life, and health insurance.

Strong communication and a drive to exceed sales goals are essential. You will work with a collaborative team, receive ongoing training, and benefit from the support and resources of a trusted brand while pursuing career growth within an independent contractor

Qualifications

• Active Property and Casualty license is required.
• Life & Health license preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Demonstrated sales experience, preferably in insurance, retail, telemarketing, or related fields.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and quotas.
• Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and cultivate leads through proactive outreach, networking, and community involvement.
• Schedule and conduct appointments with prospective and existing clients to assess their insurance needs.
• Market and recommend appropriate products and services, including property, casualty, life, and health insurance policies.
• Establish, maintain, and strengthen customer relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
• Provide timely, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding coverage, eligibility, policy changes, claims, and billing.
• Follow up with clients as needed to address questions, policy adjustments, and claim submissions.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve agency sales targets and contribute to overall office success.
