Qualifications

• Requires technical school training and/or comparable experience in electrical, mechanical, or refrigeration.
• State electrical license required.
• Experience troubleshooting low voltage AC/DC systems (120, 277, 480V, 3-Phase).
• Ability to operate forklift and material handling equipment.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and drawings.
• Knowledge of hazardous waste storage and handling per regulations; training provided.
• Basic welding skills.
• General knowledge of industrial maintenance; good mechanical/construction aptitude.
• Ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform major installation, repair and maintenance on equipment following procedures and safety standards.
• Ensure equipment is repaired to high safety standards.
• Provide general maintenance department assistance; be a team player.
• Detect and report faulty operations to supervisor.
• Use safety equipment and follow safety regulations.
• Maintain clean and orderly repair areas and tools.
• Perform other duties and cross-train as needed.
