Job summary

Pavestone in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our manufacturing team. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and automation equipment, reading schematics and working with PLCs and motor controls.

You must have at least 3 years of industrial electrician experience in manufacturing, knowledge of NEC and LOTO, and be able to lift 50 pounds and operate in a noisy, hot environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of industrial electrician or industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, PLCs, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Knowledge of NEC codes, electrical safety standards, and LOTO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical systems and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshooting motors, motor controls, VFDs, starters, PLCs, sensors, instrumentation, and power distribution systems up to 480V.
• Performing preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and production machinery.
• Diagnosing electrical malfunctions and completing repairs quickly to minimize downtime.
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Using testing equipment such as multimeters, amp clamps, and megohmmeters to inspect and diagnose electrical systems.
• Ensuring all work complies with NEC standards, company policies, and LOTO procedures.
• Assisting with installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
• Maintaining maintenance records and documenting repairs and inspections.
• Collaborating with production, maintenance, and leadership teams to support plant operations.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assisting with facility and building modifications as needed.

About You:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial environments including heights, confined spaces, heat, dust, and noise.
• Experience in heavy manufacturing or concrete products manufacturing is preferred.
