Job summary
Cogent Analytics is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician in Connecticut to install, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial systems. You will diagnose HVAC issues, read blueprints, comply with codes, and complete jobs with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of field experience, EPA 608 certification, CT license, and strong communication skills to coordinate with clients and team. Flexible hours and safety-minded approach are valued.
Qualifications
- Connecticut-licensed HVAC technician with EPA 608 cert.
- Minimum 5 years residential/light commercial HVAC service.
- S2 license is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of codes and safety practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical HVAC docs.
- Clean driving record and pass background/drug tests.
Responsibilities
- Plan layout, install, maintain, and test HVAC equipment.
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical docs.
- Ensure code compliance with codes and manufacturer specs.
- Communicate job scope, timelines, and costs with customers.
- Complete service tickets and daily logs.
- Identify opportunities for additional services.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
