Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Licensed HVAC Technician to join our Hartford-area facilities team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of HVAC equipment while upholding safety and code compliance. You will work with building automation systems, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance to keep critical infrastructure running smoothly.

The role emphasizes teamwork, emergency response support during outages, and ongoing education to stay current with industry

Qualifications

Maintain and repair HVAC equipment including air handling units, boilers, chillers, and building automation systems.
Assemble, install, test, and maintain equipment and fixtures using hand and power tools.
Diagnose and correct malfunctions in systems and components using test equipment.
Inspect equipment to identify hazards and ensure compliance with codes.
Advise management on hazardous equipment conditions.

Responsibilities

Test systems and wiring for safety and compatibility.
Maintain records, prepare reports, and order supplies as needed.
Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install or repair equipment.
Provide assistance during emergencies by operating generators and critical infrastructure.
Respond to and troubleshoot equipment problems within company facilities.
