Job summary

Spicer Energy Services, a division of Spicer Plus Inc., Groton, CT, is seeking a Licensed HVAC Technician to join our team on a full-time, hourly basis. The role involves installing new HVAC systems, diagnosing and repairing gas, oil, and heat pump equipment, and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid CT B, D, or S license required; Rhode Island license a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.

WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime and periodic on-call duties.

As our Licensed HVAC Technician you will be installing new HVAC systems or troubleshooting existing systems, and responding to service calls with expertise and professionalism. Whether diagnosing gas furnaces, repairing oil systems, or installing heat pumps, your technical skills and customer-first attitude will ensure client satisfaction and uphold our strong reputation.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A LICENSED HVAC TECHNICIAN?

We’re looking for someone who can meet the following qualifications:

• Valid CT B, D, or S license
  • An equivalent Rhode Island license is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to carry out written, oral, and/or diagrammed instructions
• Understanding of residential HVAC systems
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, service, and install Gas, Oil, Heat Pump HVAC Equipment
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Proactive and takes initiative in servicing customers and maintaining positive customer relations

Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.
