Black Bear Heating & Air is hiring a Licensed HVAC Service Technician in Connecticut. This role focuses on diagnosing and repairing residential and light commercial HVAC systems, servicing gas, oil, A/C, heat pumps, and boilers, with maintenance, tune-ups, and inspections as core duties.

The ideal candidate holds a Connecticut HVAC license (D2/S2/B2 or equivalent), EPA Universal Certification, and at least 3 years of HVAC service experience, plus a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• CT HVAC License (D2/S2/B2) or equivalent.
• 3+ years HVAC service experience required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Experience with oil & gas systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential & light commercial HVAC systems.
• Service gas, oil, A/C, heat pumps, and boilers.
• Perform maintenance, tune-ups, and system inspections.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Communicate clearly with customers (no sales pressure).
• Complete work orders and documentation accurately.
