Qualifications

• Current Connecticut D-2 or S-2 HVAC license required.
• EPA Section 608 Certification required.
• 3+ years HVAC service and repair experience preferred.
• Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment specifications.
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and equipment.
• Service air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, rooftop units, mini-splits, and related HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigerant-related issues.
• Test electrical components, motors, capacitors, contactors, relays, controls, and thermostats.
• Identify equipment failures and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Complete repairs per manufacturer specs, standards, and codes.
