Job summary

Century Mechanical Holdings in Wolcott, CT is seeking a licensed HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Candidates should have CT S-1 license, hands-on experience with furnaces, ACs, boilers, and heat pumps, plus strong electrical and mechanical knowledge. You will document work accurately.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the State of Connecticut (S-1).
• Experience performing preventive maintenance, system diagnostics, and complex HVAC repairs with minimal supervision.
• Able to install HVAC equipment for residential homes in new construction and add on replacement environments.
• Technical knowledge of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems and ability to diagnose problems.
• Extensive hands-on experience servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems; installation a plus.
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills; reading wiring diagrams and using diagnostic tools.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication with customers, coworkers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, cooling, and ventilation systems including AC, furnaces, boilers, and heat pumps.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems using diagnostic tools and system knowledge.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, leaks, or compressors.
• Perform regular maintenance like cleaning ducts, replacing filters, and inspecting components.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate problems and solutions clearly.
• Keep up with industry trends, new technologies, and regulations; attend training when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed for billing and regulatory documentation.
• Ensure heating, cooling, and ventilation systems operate efficiently and effectively.
