Job summary

Allaire Health Services, LLC is seeking a licensed HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team in New Jersey. You will maintain, repair, and service heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

  • EPA Section 608 Certification is required.
  • HVAC license as required by state/local regulations.
  • Minimum of 2 years HVAC maintenance experience (healthcare or senior living preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical specifications.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work in various physical conditions.
  • High school diploma or GED; HVAC training program preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, split systems, exhaust fans, and thermostats.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC-related issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Monitor and maintain proper system operations, including air quality and temperature control.
  • Inspect systems for wear and tear and recommend necessary upgrades or replacements.
  • Maintain service logs, records, and documentation in compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal codes and safety regulations.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as needed.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Uphold a professional and respectful environment in resident and patient areas.

About the Role:
