Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking experienced HVAC Service Technicians to join our Healthcare Facilities team in Texas. You will maintain, repair, and install HVAC systems in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities, ensuring comfort and compliance.

Applicants should have EPA Universal Certification, 3+ years of commercial HVAC experience, and the ability to read drawings. A Texas license and clean driving record are preferred, with on-call rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Current EPA Universal Certification is required.
• Texas HVAC certification or license preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Experience in healthcare facilities is a plus.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background screening and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC/refrigeration equipment.
• Troubleshoot rooftop units, split systems, package units, exhaust and ventilation systems.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
• Maintain service records and maintenance documentation.
• Work closely with facility maintenance teams and management.
• Ensure compliance with codes, OSHA regulations, CMS requirements, and safety standards.
• Participate in on‑call rotations when required.

We are seeking experienced, dependable, and HVAC-certified technicians to join our growing team providing maintenance, repair, and installation services in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities throughout Texas.

This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping ensure comfortable, safe, and compliant environments for residents and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
• Troubleshoot rooftop units, split systems, package units, exhaust systems, and ventilation equipment.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and maintenance documentation.
• Work closely with facility maintenance teams and management.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable mechanical codes, OSHA regulations, CMS requirements, and facility safety standards.
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotations when required.
