Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Home Inspector License; able to perform inspections independently.
• NHIE certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Experience in property inspection with knowledge of structural and mechanical systems.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Capable of up to 10 inspections per week with 2 weekend slots.
• Comfort working in the field and managing your own schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive residential inspections evaluating structural, mechanical, and safety systems.
• Conduct pre-purchase inspections for buyers seeking clear, reliable insight into a property's condition.
• Complete pre-listing inspections to help sellers address issues before listing.
• Provide maintenance inspections to catch problems early and save costs.
• Navigate attics, crawl spaces, and tight areas as part of full property assessment.
• Communicate findings clearly in person and in writing for client understanding.
