Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in Orange County seeks a Licensed Group Home Administrator (IDD/ARF/GH) to ensure regulatory compliance and the health, safety, and well‑being of residents. The role includes overseeing staffing, coordinating care, and maintaining strong communication with conservators and regional representatives.

The Administrator will supervise daily operations, conduct staff training, manage finances and documentation, and participate in required trainings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and specialized training as required by program designs.
• IDD / Developmental Disabilities experience and relevant regional center background.
• ARF and GH certifications with hands‑on supervisory background.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory compliance and ensure health, safety, and well‑being of clients.
• Manage staffing and labor hours to provide high‑quality care and support.
• Oversee daily operations: notes, medication audits, funds disbursement, file maintenance, and evaluations.
• Attend trainings mandated by Regional Centers and ensure quality care communications.
• Act as first responder for emergencies and maintain 24‑hour on‑call readiness.

Education

Bachelor’s degree

IDD / Developmental Disabilities

Regional Center experience

Adult Residential Facility Certification (ARF Certificate)

Group Home Certificate (GH Certificate)

DSP I and DSP II certificates

CPR/FA and CPI certification

3 years experience in field with developmental disabilities (Level 4I or Higher Home)

2 years minimum supervisory experience
