Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 5–10 years geotechnical engineering experience, including foundation design and subsurface investigation.
• Experience with construction materials testing (CMT) including soils, concrete, and asphalt testing.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, LPile, and geotechnical software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client- and contractor-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Sign and seal geotechnical reports and deliverables per licensure rules.
• Lead geotechnical operations for residential developments, foundations, deep foundations, and helical piles.
• Review CMT field and lab data to ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide oversight to interns and field technicians.
• Prepare geotechnical reports, analyses, and client deliverables.
• Develop foundation design recommendations using AutoCAD, LPile, and related software.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, architects, and project stakeholders.
• Support proposals and business development activities.
• Ensure deliverables meet building codes and local requirements.
