Job summary

Certerra is seeking an experienced Project Manager for the Construction Materials Group to oversee geotechnical projects in the Winter Garden, FL area. You will coordinate field technicians and lab staff to meet project goals and safety standards.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering and a Florida PE license; CEI experience is preferred. Strong communication and organization are essential to manage client expectations and project invoicing.

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication skills to coordinate with clients and internal teams.
• BS in Civil Engineering is required; CEI experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Florida PE license (or ability to obtain) is required or highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal generation and business development.
• Manage 40+ field technicians and 6 lab technicians at sites in Winter Garden, FL.
• Coordinate with clients to ensure projects meet goals and report adjustments to management and owners.
• Provide project and site management of geotechnical projects with a focus on safety and quality.
• Ensure accurate client invoicing and reporting.
• Maintain positive relationships and prioritize workloads across teams.
• Collaborate with Certerra management to resolve conflicts and optimize project delivery.
• Engage in professional development and model high professional standards.
