Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Licensed Sprinkler Journeyman to join our fire protection team. You will inspect, test, and repair sprinkler systems, ensuring NFPA 25 compliance and safety for occupants.

You will coordinate with clients, contractors, and authorities to address issues and maintain system integrity. We offer a competitive hourly pay range of $40.00–$50.00, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for MA licensed fitters and participation in our company benefits program.

Qualifications

• Licensed Sprinkler Journeyman with applicable state certification.
• Experience inspecting, testing, repairing sprinkler systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA 25 and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler systems to NFPA 25 standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and deficiency lists.
• Evaluate system components including pumps, valves, and piping.
• Inspect piping and fittings for corrosion, leaks or damage; recommend repairs.
• Perform maintenance on sprinkler systems and components as needed.
• Test Fire pump assemblies and assess mechanical integrity.
• Respond to service calls and restore system functionality.
• Document all service activities using the Service Trade platform.
• Work with Deficiency Sellers to prepare repair estimates.
• Coordinate with clients and coordinators to schedule work.
