Job summary

AAA Northeast is hiring a Field Insurance Agent to sell personal lines insurance to members via branch, phone and online channels. You will gather coverage and premium data, present proposals, and develop leads while ensuring underwriting criteria and compliant processes are followed.

You will deliver AAA Five Diamond service, service new accounts, and build relationships with clients and partners. A current Personal Lines license and a Life license within 1 year are required or obtained after

Qualifications

• 2+ years Insurance sales experience required
• Valid Personal Lines License Upon Hire Required
• Valid Life Insurance License within 1 Year Required
• High School Diploma or GED required and Associate's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products and services, meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Interact with members in person at the branch, over the phone and online.
• Compile coverage and rating information; confirm insurer underwriting criteria, coverage, and premium data.
• Provide members with product and premium proposals that best fit their needs.
• Develop leads and prospects by responding to referrals in a timely manner.
• Develop general knowledge of Life products for referrals to licensed agents.
• Follow agency processes and procedures in quoting and binding coverage, and processing member payments.
• Gain general knowledge of insurance practices, including the scope of an agent's authority.
• Provide AAA Five Diamond service to all current and prospective AAA Insurance clients.
• Services new Insurance accounts by processing payments, researching underwriting criteria and acting as liaison with Insurance Companies.
• Build professional relationships with clients, insurance company representatives, dealerships, real estate agents, etc., to ensure success of AAA Insurance and to broaden community knowledge of AAA Insurance products and services
