Job summary

GEM Plumbing & Heating is seeking a Licensed Excavator Operator to join our team in Rhode Island for full-time work on construction projects. You will operate excavator equipment, trench for residential and commercial sewer and water lines, and read blueprints to understand project requirements.

Qualifications

Must hold MA or RI Excavator Operator license.
Must have valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Trenching for residential sewer and water lines.
Trenching for commercial sewer and water lines.
Trenching for electrical underground.
Saw cutting of asphalt and concrete driveways and concrete.
Excavate rock, ledge or other underground materials.
Read and interpret blueprints or designs to understand the requirements of the job.
Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refuel equipment.
