Job summary

Hattie Larlham in Rhode Island seeks a Heavy Machine/Equipment Operator to join our on-site construction team. You will operate a range of heavy machinery, perform routine maintenance, and maintain safety and quality on every project.

The ideal candidate will hold the proper state license to operate heavy equipment, with a CDL A preferred, and work well in a collaborative environment while prioritizing safety and accuracy across all tasks.

Qualifications

• Must hold the proper license to operate heavy machinery in the state.
• CDL A License is preferable.
• Previous construction or heavy equipment experience desired.
• Strong communication skills.
• The ability to work well within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of large, heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and more.
• Maintain all equipment used, including cleaning and regular maintenance.
• Follow best digging practices for all projects.
• Work closely with the rest of the team on each project to ensure success.
