Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service is seeking a skilled Excavator Operator for our Stratford, CT area. You will operate back-hoe and mini-excavator equipment to support sewer and water service repairs and replacements, while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Experience with residential and commercial projects is essential; CDL Class A is mandatory. Excellent benefits and opportunities for career progression are offered by a leading national brand.

Qualifications

• Construction experience on residential and commercial projects.
• CDL Class A license is required for the role.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Adherence to OSHA and Roto-Rooter safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates back-hoe, mini-excavator, skid steers and other excavation equipment to excavate and load materials on various sites.
• Load, unload and secure equipment on transport trailers.
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with crew to complete excavation work efficiently on projects.
• Interact with customers to provide professional service and address needs.
• Maintain and retrieve equipment from branch or rental agencies as required.
• Perform excavation work in confined spaces and open trenches per safety guidelines.
• Arrive at job sites promptly and drive service vehicles safely between locations.
