Job summary

Skilled Trades Partners currently seeks an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for a long-term commercial project in Lee, MA. Operate an excavator on site, perform excavation, grading and earthwork, and work around landfills and parks with safety as a priority.

Candidate must have proven excavator experience, a valid Massachusetts 2A Hoisting License, and be able to pass drug screening and background checks. Competitive pay based on experience and reliable attendance are offered.

• Proven experience operating an excavator.
• Experience with site work, earthwork, landfills, parks, or similar commercial construction projects.
• Valid Massachusetts 2A Hoisting License required.

• Strong understanding of construction site safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate an excavator on commercial construction projects
• Perform excavation, grading, digging, loading, and other site/earthwork duties
• Work around landfills, parks, and other large‑scale commercial sites
• Follow all safety procedures and jobsite requirements
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns
• Work effectively with ground crews and other equipment operators
