Job summary

BEST Crowd Management is seeking an on-site FedExForum Licensed Event Security Guard in Memphis, TN. This part-time role pays $16 per hour and requires a Tennessee security license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test.

You will patrol venues, monitor access points, assist attendees, and coordinate with law enforcement as needed. Applicants should be physically fit to stand/walk for long periods, work flexible evenings and weekends, and

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Experience in event security or related field is advantageous.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and maintain fitness.
• Pass a background check and drug screening; valid Tennessee license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible, professional presence per client and BEST standards.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized activities and ensure safety.
• Monitor access points; conduct bag checks and entry screenings; stay vigilant.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical events.
• Coordinate with staff, law enforcement, and emergency services as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to attendees and staff; offer directions.
• Report security incidents to supervisors or authorities.
• Document activities and observations for leadership review.
• Uphold company policies to maintain professional security standards.
