Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Wheaton, IL seeks a licensed esthetician to deliver cosmetic skin care, perform facial treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, eyelash and eyebrow enhancement, and related services under physician supervision. This full-time role requires an IL Esthetics license, completion of an esthetician program, and 2–3 years of experience with upscale clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate high-level knowledge of cosmetic treatments, skin care products and procedures that will ensure patient satisfaction, quality care and effective patient education.
  • Educate patients of the benefits and limitations of cosmetic procedures, treatments and skin care lines to aid in providing realistic patient expectations.
  • Assist appropriate team members in designing education/teaching materials for patients, families and staff.
  • Perform facial skin rejuvenation procedures which may include chemical peels, microdermabrasion and facials, eyelash and eyebrow enhancement procedures, makeup application, and body treatments and spider vein treatments within the scope of practice and training, with documented supervision of the participating physicians, as required by regulation or current professional standard-of-care practice guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the physicians in designing individualized skin treatment programs which will complement, enhance and optimize surgical and non-surgical services.
  • Develop, promote and expand independent client base.
  • Promote additional services and skin care products to current patients and solicit referrals.
  • Responsible for ordering, organizing and maintenance of all supply inventories related to skin care products and treatments.
  • Ensure supply is available at all times.
  • Design create and innovative ways to display products.
  • Identify and analyze potential new skin care product lines.
  • Prepare treatment room.
  • Ensure room is sanitized and well stocked.
  • Ensure all instruments and equipment are clean and sterile adhering to strict DMG guidelines for sterilization.
  • Ensure that any necessary preventative maintenance is performed on equipment for proper operation.
  • Assist physician and patient coordinator in designing marketing and promotional programs.
  • Identify methods designed to expand skin care services.
  • Assist in tracking the results of all skin care marketing programs.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Immediate development in proficiency in using practice management software application, prior experience with practice management software preferred.
  • Excellent promotional skills and the proven ability to successfully sell skin care products.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work with upscale clientele.
  • Ability to discuss financial arrangements and responsibilities with patients.
EDUCATION and / or CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE

High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Completion of Esthetician program
  • Current IL State License in Esthetics
EXPERIENCE

Two to three years experience as a licensed aesthetician

Compensation

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $20.59/hourly with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives (commission). Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
