Job summary

Atlas is seeking an Environmental Technician to conduct inspections and sampling for hazardous materials including asbestos, lead, and mold. The role requires a professional license as an Asbestos Project Monitor, Inspector, or Lead Inspector and local/region travel to project sites.

Under supervision, you will collect data, supervise abatement activities, and help prepare comprehensive reports. A valid driver’s license and 40-hour HAZWOPER are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a professional license as an Asbestos Project Monitor, Asbestos Inspector, or Lead Inspector.
• 1–3 years of experience as an industrial hygiene technician are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug-alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos, lead-based paint, mold and other hazardous materials surveys under supervision.
• Provide oversight during abatement activities for asbestos and lead-based paint.
• Collect field notes and photographs; prepare chain-of-custody documents.
• Prepare survey data, sample location maps and draft reports or sections of reports.
