Job summary

Construction Job Force in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a licensed electrician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for solar PV canopy projects. Expect conduit work, wiring, inverter connections, and rigorous adherence to codes and safety standards.

Requirements include a NM Journeyman license (EE98J) and PV installation experience. The role is contract-based, onsite in Albuquerque with a $45.31/hr pay rate and weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• Proficient in installing and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Able to read electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with conduit bending and PV installations.
• Knowledge of AC and DC terminations.
• Journeyman license or state certification required.
• Experience with EV charging installations and energy storage is a plus.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
• NABCEP training or solar industry coursework is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems for solar parking canopy projects, including conduit, wiring, disconnects, switchgear, combiner boxes, and inverters.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, one-line diagrams, and project specifications.
• Bend and install EMT, rigid, PVC, and flexible conduit systems.
• Pull, terminate, and label conductors per project requirements.
• Install PV modules, grounding systems, and equipment; perform PV system wiring.
• Conduct AC and DC electrical terminations.
• Install transformers, panelboards, EV charging equipment, and related infra as needed.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
