NOVACES is seeking a Licensed Electrician / Installation Technician to support the FAA's Radar System Replacement program, the NAS modernization effort. Travel ~75% and US Citizenship required for government clearance.

The role provides licensed electrical expertise for installation, power distribution, grounding, SPDs, and coordination with FAA facility power infrastructure across nationwide deployments. You will work with construction managers, system engineers, and installation teams to

Qualifications

Must have active licensed electrician certification.
2-4 years with experience performing commercial or industrial electrical work.
Ability to travel to FAA sites nationwide.
Experience with power distribution, grounding, and surge protection.
Ability to read electrical drawings and installation documentation.

Responsabilités

Perform licensed electrical installation for radar room equipment and infrastructure.
Install, terminate, and test power cabling per designs and codes.
Coordinate with FAA facility personnel for connection to power systems.
Install grounding and earthing systems, SPDs, and busbars.
Support power connection testing and system energization documentation.
Assist with antenna installations including power and lightning interfaces.
Support IAT and system start-up for electrical subsystems.
Identify and resolve electrical installation issues in the field.
Prepare installation documentation and as-built information.
Ensure compliance with safety, security, quality and FAA requirements.
