Job summary

Leidos is seeking a qualified Field Engineer to support the NAS Integration Support Contract (NISC) for the FAA's BNATCS initiative, focusing on the Radar Surveillance Replacement (RSR) program. The role involves on-site installation and disposition at major airports, with extensive travel.

The candidate should have radar experience, FAA radar training, and active NAS radar certifications, plus strong independent work and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with research, design, and development of electrical equipment and systems.
• Completion of formal Radar training at the FAA Academy.
• Prior Radar certification authority at one or more airports.
• Hands-on field experience on Radar systems in the active NAS.

Responsibilities

• Represent the PO at RSR sites on a multi-site schedule.
• Serve as SME to the program office project, implementation, and engineering leads.
• Develop site implementation plans and conduct site visits.
• Provide onsite installation consultation and advise contractors per SOW.
