Responsibilities:

1. Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment, following hospital policies and procedures.
2. Work from blueprints, sketches, and wiring diagrams, using voltmeters, meggars, ampmeters, leakage test recorders, and other equipment.
3. Maintain all electrical motors and systems, including motors, starters, control systems, pumps, generators, fire alarms, and HVAC systems.
4. Record all work performed, maintain maintenance logs, and order supplies as needed.
5. Ensure safety standards are followed, maintain a clean work area, and comply with departmental policies.
6. Attend meetings, conferences, and seminars as required.

Qualifications:

Broad training in the electrical field, requiring advanced shop mathematics, the use of complicated drawings, specifications, and precision measuring instruments. Electrician license required. Basic computer skills helpful. 1-3 years of experience preferred.
