Job summary

Yamasa USA in Oregon is seeking a Supervisory Licensed Electrical Maintenance Manager to lead electrical operations and maintenance for a 24/7 premium soy sauce facility. You will oversee complex electrical work, ensure NEC compliance, and drive reliability across PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and automated systems.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance maintenance team in a safety-first culture while building preventive and predictive maintenance programs with CMMS.

Qualifications

• Active Supervisory Electrician License required.
• 6–10 years of leadership in maintenance/technical ops.
• Strong knowledge of automation, industrial machinery and facility maintenance.
• Hands-on electrical, mechanical, welding and fabrication skills.
• Familiarity with packaging lines, conveyors, pumps and processing equipment.
• Problem solving under pressure; effective communication in diverse teams.
• Experience with MS Office and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex electrical work and ensure NEC/compliance.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, robotics, and automated systems.
• Build and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs with CMMS tracking.
• Manage repairs across industrial equipment, HVAC, pumps, and building systems.
• Maintain clean, safe production environment and enforce food-safety practices.
• Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance staff to high performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
