Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Halsey, Oregon is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead the Electrical Maintenance team in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will supervise day and rotating-shift electricians, drive safety, reliability, and cost improvements, and coordinate with operations and engineering to keep assets running.

The role requires 5+ years electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing, supervision experience, CMMS proficiency (SAP preferred), and a technical degree.

Qualifications

• 2 years supervising maintenance technicians.
• Minimum 5 years’ electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Hands-on experience with single- and three-phase systems up to 2300 V; electrical controls, PLCs, AC/DC motor controllers and drives.
• Experience with CMMS (SAP preferred), MS Word/Excel.
• Experience in leading improvement efforts in Reliability, Predictive and Preventive Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Maintenance Team (day and rotating shifts) for troubleshooting and repairs in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Coordinate maintenance execution to improve EHS, compliance, reliability, quality, production and costs.
• Foster team development, problem-solving, and accountability.
• Ensure Electrical Safe Work Practice compliance.
• Perform Safety walks to boost engagement and performance.
• Monitor craft quality and guide crew for efficiency.
• Track KPIs and report team performance.
• Utilize SAP CMMS to schedule work.
• Collaborate with Operations, Technical Team, Electrical Planner and Facilities/Utilities Engineer.
