Job summary

Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a full-time Licensed Electrical Foreman to join our Boise area division. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and executing electrical construction projects while adapting to codes and safety requirements.

Mentoring field crews and troubleshooting tasks such as wire pulling and bending pipe are essential. The successful candidate will supervise crews, manage project plans, ensure safety, and coordinate with PM and purchasing to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Current Journeyman license.
• Five plus years of installation experience with the latest electrical code, means, and methods.
• Superior internal and external communication and interpersonal skills.
• Safety training related to electrical and general construction such as OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, etc.

Responsibilities

• Plan and layout projects including material take-off quantities and tool needs based on the project schedule.
• Supervise crews (2 to 50 personnel) to meet safety, quality and production goals.
• Coordinate with PM and purchasing for material requisitions and delivery schedules.
• Establish site-specific safety plan and evaluate project risks to personnel and equipment.
• Mentor field crews and provide training, feedback, and trade coordination.
• Review installation per contract drawings and specifications and implement changes as needed.
• Maintain daily progress reports and attend project meetings.
