Job summary

Hunt Electric, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT seeks a full-time licensed Industrial Electrical Foreman to lead field crews in our Industrial Division. A current Utah Journeyman license is required, with reciprocal licenses considered and Utah licensure to be obtained within 30 days.

Strong electrical construction experience and crew supervision are essential. Responsibilities include planning, training, coordinating material and labor, and ensuring safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Utah Journeyman license is required.
• 5+ years of installation experience with electrical systems.
• Experience supervising field crews from 2 to 50 personnel.
• Ability to read electrical plans and blueprints and interpret specs.
• Proven leadership, safety adherence, and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Diplomatically manage crews and provide training and feedback.
• Plan and layout projects with material takeoffs and tool needs.
• Troubleshoot and install control circuits and electrical systems.
• Read and interpret plans, schematics, and blueprints.
• Establish site safety plans and mitigate project risks.
• Coordinate with PM on change requests and schedules.
• Manage material and labor needs for timely site arrivals and departures.
• Monitor progress and document daily activities and obstacles.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with trades.
• Communicate with PM and purchasing on material delivery schedules.
• Ensure installation conforms to contract drawings and specs.
• Supervise multiple projects and drive continuous improvement.
