Job summary

SC Engineers, a Legence Company, seeks an Electrical Engineer with a BS in Electrical Engineering to support electrical design for commercial projects in San Diego and Southern California. You will work with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, and other design disciplines to develop coordinated, code‑compliant electrical designs.

The role requires a PE license, at least five years of electrical design experience, and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical calculation

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Electrical Engineer (PE) license.
• Minimum five years of electrical design experience in AEC.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution and lighting systems.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low‑voltage systems for commercial buildings.
• Prepare drawings, schedules, diagrams, and details using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Perform load, voltage drop, lighting, and short‑circuit calculations under licensed supervision.
• Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, architectural, and technology teams.
• Assist with equipment specifications and code compliance reviews.
