Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Licensed Driver for our Normal, IL location to protect automotive manufacturing and business sites. You will monitor access, patrol assigned areas, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift modest weights; prior security or badge-control experience is preferred. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive, team-oriented work

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, offices, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.
