Job summary

Ataneconsulting is seeking a Design Project Manager - PE to lead structural, civil and MEP projects for school facilities. The role requires a PA-licensed Professional Engineer and a track record in educational building projects.

Qualifications

Licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
7+ years of paid professional experience in school buildings and facilities' design, construction and assessment.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
Experience with Building Codes (City of Philadelphia, IBC) and material Codes (AISC, ACI).

Responsibilities

Develop scope for Capital Projects — inspection, assessment, preliminary design, formal scope determination report.
Coordinate outside Design Consultant — prepare RFPs, review proposals, technical reviews, approve payments.
Oversee permit, advertisement and bidding process — prepare bid specs, liaise with contractors, coordinate with L&I and agencies.
Produce inspections and assessment reports and directives to Facilities, Maintenance and Environmental Services.
