Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene.
• Active Minnesota Dental Hygienist License.
• 2-4 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification.
• Proficient English communication; Spanish may be preferred depending on clinic location.
• Ability to operate under a Collaborative Agreement per regulations.
• Familiarity with Open Dental software and standard office tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oral hygiene care including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Assess and document patient conditions; collaborate on treatment plans.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as permitted by state regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental and other software.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
• Travel to support community sites as needed, using company or personal transportation.

• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Travel as needed to support community sites, which may include driving a company vehicle or personal transportation when necessary.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene.
• Active Minnesota Dental Hygienist License.
• 2-4 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Local anesthesia and nitrous oxide certification.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency preferred based on clinic location).
• Ability to work under a signed Collaborative Agreement following state and company regulations.
• Proficiency or willingness to learn Open Dental software, Microsoft Office, and other necessary systems.
• Valid driver’s license (based on clinic location) and willingness to travel as needed.
