Job summary

The Dental Specialists in Minneapolis seeks a compassionate, skilled Licensed Dental Assistant to join our specialty practices across Minnesota and Wisconsin. You will support our specialists, prepare treatment rooms, take radiographs, educate patients, and help maintain accurate records in a patient-centered, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Minnesota Dental Assistant required.
  • Certification to apply dental sealants, perform gingival cord displacement, and monitor nitrous oxide in Minnesota.
  • Current CPR certification from a recognized provider.

Responsibilities

  • Assist specialists during a variety of specialty dental procedures.
  • Prepare and organize treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
  • Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
  • Support patient comfort before, during, and after treatment.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, post-operative care, and oral health.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
  • Follow infection prevention and sterilization protocols.
  • Collaborate with specialists and team members to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
  • Help support efficient clinical workflows and outstanding specialty patient care.

The Dental Specialists is looking for a compassionate, skilled, and professional Licensed Dental Assistant to join our growing specialty practices across Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Starting Wage Range $30.50 – $34.65 per hour

What You Will Do

What You Will Need
  • Current Minnesota Dental Assistant License
  • Certification to apply dental sealants, perform gingival cord displacement, and monitor nitrous oxide in Minnesota
  • Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or equivalent accredited provider
Schedule

Monday: 7:30 AM – 2:15 PM, alternating even or odd Monday with patients at Children’s Hospital in the operating room (no standard scheduled lunch).

Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 4:15 PM (30 minute lunch)

Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 4:15 PM (30 minute lunch)

Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:15 PM (30 minute lunch)

Friday: Off
