Job summary

Apple Tree Dental in Mounds View, MN seeks a Licensed Dental Assistant to join a collaborative, patient‑focused team. You will assist dentists chairside, prepare materials, and take dental X‑rays while ensuring a clean, safe clinical environment.

Required: Minnesota LDA license, accredited dental assisting program, CPR (BLS), and DANB or state jurisprudence. We offer flexible hours, no nights/weekends, PTO, 401(k) matching and health benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program is required.
• Active Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) credential is required.
• DANB certification or equivalent state jurisprudence qualification is required for specified tasks.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with patient care, including chairside assistance and preparation of dental materials.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as required.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, following infection control protocols.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Work closely with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.
