Apple Tree Dental in Minnesota seeks a dedicated PRN Licensed Dental Assistant to support patients across-site, with flexible scheduling to fit your availability. You will assist dentists in procedures, prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, and take dental radiographs, ensuring a smooth patient experience.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited dental assisting program, Minnesota licensure (DAND or equivalent), current CPR, and strong English

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
• Active Minnesota licensure, DAND Certification, and/or state jurisprudence requirements.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross.
• Effective English communication; Spanish helpful depending on location.
• Valid driver's license; car insurance roster preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists in all patient care and exams.
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per infection control.
• Take and develop dental radiographs as required.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling and admin tasks.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Travel to community sites as needed.

We are seeking a dedicated PRN Licensed Dental Assistant to join our team in Mounds View, MN. As an integral part of our dental team, you will assist in various dental procedures and ensure a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists in all aspects of patient care, including procedures and exams
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling and administrative tasks as needed
• Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
• Travel as needed to support community sites, which may include driving a company vehicle or personal transportation when necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
• Active Minnesota Licensure, DAND Certification, and/or other state jurisprudence requirements to perform designated tasks
• Current CPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English (Spanish proficiency preferred based on clinic location)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be added to the company car insurance roster highly preferred
