Job summary

Apple Tree Dental in Hawley, MN seeks a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our patient-focused team. You will assist dentists chairside, take X-rays, educate patients, and help maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited dental assisting course.
• Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) credential is required.
• DANB certification or equivalent state jurisprudence qualification for specified tasks.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification is required.
• Proficiency in oral and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with patient care, including chairside assistance and preparation of dental materials.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as required.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, following infection control protocols.
• Document patient care and treatment plans in the EHR system.
• Work closely with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.
