Job summary

Lindblad Expeditions is seeking a Licensed Deckhand for our US-flag fleet. You will operate Zodiacs to safely transport guests between ship and shore and support deck operations in remote, expedition environments.

Ideal candidates have hands-on maritime experience, strong seamanship, and excellent guest service skills. Rotational schedule on a two-month/one-month cycle, with demanding physical duties and safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must have 25 GRT Master License (Near Coastal Waters).
• TWIC credential valid for US waters.
• US Passport or Permanent Resident Card with passport.
• STCW Basic Safety Training (BST).

Responsibilities

• Operate Zodiacs and small vessels with tiller outboard control.
• Docking/undocking duties and lines handling.
• Participate in safety drills and follow EMS guidelines.
• Load guest luggage and assist crew during transfers.
• Support deck operations and basic vessel maintenance.
