Job summary

Lindblad Expeditions seeks a Licensed Deckhand to maintain decks, operate Zodiacs, and support guest experiences aboard our US-flagged vessels. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on ship operations in remote locations, with a rotation of 2 months on / 1 month off and ~12-hour days.

You'll perform maintenance, assist in boat handling, and participate in safety drills while collaborating with engineering, hotel, and expeditions teams to deliver our signature expedition experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 25 GRT Master License, Upon Near Coastal Waters.
• Valid Transportation Worker’s Identification Credential (TWIC)
• Valid US Passport or US Permanent Resident Card with valid passport
• STCW Basic Safety Training (BST)

Responsibilities

• Maintain decks and vessel interiors; clean and paint as assigned.
• Handle lines during docking; assist with inflatable boats and guest loading.
• Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures; conduct security patrols.
• Assist training of new deckhands and support crew as needed.
