Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a qualified Crew Boat Operator to safely operate the company-owned crew boat, manage engines and steering, and coordinate on-board activities to support daily vessel tasks.

Requirements include a USCG Uninspected Passenger Vessel Captain's license (Inland), a valid TWIC card, and at least three years' experience; expect a 12-hour shift with a 20/10 rotation at the field site. Join a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• USCG Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels Captain's License; Inland
• Valid TWIC Card
• Minimum of three years related experience
• Ability to comply with safety rules and regulations
• Ability to work effectively with little to no supervision
• Knowledge of operation of marine equipment, tools and devices
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
• Competencies: stress management/composure, teamwork, results driven

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of the vessel assigned
• Record and report maintenance issues to supervisor
• Responsible for all housekeeping of the vessel
• Work a 12-hour shift, 20/10 rotating schedule from the required field location
• Must be able to step from the vessel to the dock
• Must be able to pull handle lines for docking and disembarking
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and climb to perform maintenance, minor repairs, and cleaning
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Participates in Safety and Environmental initiatives that will contribute to compliance of State/Federal regulations and improve existing Company programs
