Job summary

Sun River Health in Queens, NY is seeking a Full-time Licensed Creative Arts Therapist to plan and conduct art therapy sessions to improve clients' physical, cognitive, or emotional well-being within a Federally Qualified Health Center. You will facilitate art therapy groups, maintain supplies, and participate in mandatory trainings while delivering individualized treatment plans.

Candidates must hold a Master’s in Art Therapy and be licensed as a Creative Arts Therapist, with BLS/CPR

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Art Therapy required.
• Licensed Creative Arts Therapist required; BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates art therapy groups for all clients.
• Maintains inventory of art supplies and orders.
• Attends mandatory in-service programs and trainings.
• Develops individualized treatment plans incorporating art therapy and counseling.
• Writes treatment plans and case summaries; coordinates with the treatment team.
