THE BRIDGE COUNSELING, CONSULTING AND MEDIATION LLC in Tempe, AZ is seeking a part-time Licensed Counselor/Therapist to provide individual and couple counseling, conduct intake assessments, and develop treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Must hold current licensure in Arizona (LAC or LAMFT) in good standing.
• Experience in individual, couple, and family counseling with assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Familiarity with CBT, DBT, solution-focused or trauma-informed approaches.
• Ability to work with diverse populations with cultural humility and respect.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including documentation.
• Ability to manage a part-time caseload and maintain professional boundaries.
• Multidisciplinary collaboration and openness to supervision and professional development.

Role Description

This part-time, Licensed Counselor/Therapist role is based in Tempe, AZ and involves providing individual and couple counseling to clients with a wide range of mental health and life concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting intake assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating ongoing therapeutic sessions, and maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation. The role includes coordinating care with other professionals when appropriate, participating in case consultation, and adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice. The counselor/therapist will also support the overall mission of the organization by contributing to a positive, inclusive, and trauma-informed environment. Supervision will be provided to associate level therapists.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including clear clinical documentation.

• Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Comfort working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting and openness to supervision and ongoing professional development.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and electronic health record systems is preferred.
