Job summary

Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health, part of UHS, near Charleston, SC, seeks a Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor to provide individual and group counseling, case management, and participate in an interdisciplinary treatment team.

The role requires a Master’s in behavioral health, current licensure, and clinical experience; we offer tuition assistance, medical/dental plans, 401(k), and opportunities across 300+ locations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral science or mental health field is required.
• Clinical experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings preferred.
• Must hold current state licensure/certification to work in IOP/PHP.
• Ability to relate well with treatment professionals and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to patients and families.
• Lead patient groups and document notes detailing participation and progress.
• Be a member of the interdisciplinary team supporting the organization’s treatment program.
