Job summary

Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, seeks a Social Worker/Licensed Professional Counselor in Charleston, SC. You will provide case management and psychotherapy, lead groups, and participate in an interdisciplinary team to support treatment goals.

The role requires a Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, current state licensure, CPR/CPI training (provided on hire), and experience in inpatient/outpatient mental health settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral science or mental health field.
• Current state licensure and/or certification to work in IOP/PHP program.
• CPR and CPI certification training provided upon hire.
• Clinical experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health setting preferred.
• Ability to relate well with treatment professionals and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to patients and families.
• Lead patient groups and document notes detailing participation and progress.
• Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team supporting treatment program and philosophy.
