The Ranch at Dove Tree in Lubbock, TX is seeking a full-time Counselor (LPC) to provide evidence-based treatment for clients in recovery from addictions and co-occurring disorders. You will conduct assessments, develop and monitor treatment plans, and lead individual, group, and family sessions on site.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in social services or a related field, current licensure, and CPR/first aid or de-escalation training. Internship experience is a plus; benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in social services or closely related field.
• CPR and de-escalation training required; first aid may be required.
• Licensure as social worker, counselor, therapist or addiction counselor per state.

Responsabilités

• Conduct client assessments to identify history, presentation and treatment needs.
• Develop, document and review treatment plans and progress.
• Lead group, individual and family counseling sessions with evidence-based modalities.
• Provide client and family education on substance use and psychiatric issues.
• Complete timely documentation of care, incidents and aftercare plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate with insurance carriers as needed.
• Perform case management and act as liaison with self-help groups and EAP.
• Deliver educational workshops in-hospital and community settings.
