Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. in Mesa, AZ seeks a Part-Time Licensed Counselor to join our behavioral health team. The role offers a flexible schedule and meaningful, client-centered clinical work with individuals experiencing mental health and substance use concerns.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
  • Active professional license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT or equivalent).
  • Experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, and documentation.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with strong communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and/or group counseling.
  • Complete behavioral health assessments and contribute to individualized treatment planning.
  • Support individuals experiencing mental health crises, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions.
  • Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to care.

  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with nursing, medical, behavioral health, and case management teams.
  • Connect patients with appropriate resources and ongoing levels of care.
  • Maintain professional, ethical, and regulatory standards of practice.

Part-Time Licensed Counselor
Behavioral Health | Flexible Part-Time Schedule

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Licensed Counselor to join a well-established behavioral health organization on a part-time basis.

This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working directly with individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, and complex behavioral health needs. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide assessments, counseling, crisis support, and individualized treatment in an environment where your clinical judgment and ability to connect with patients truly matter.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide individual and/or group counseling services based on patient needs

  • Complete behavioral health assessments and contribute to individualized treatment planning

  • Support individuals experiencing mental health crises, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions

  • Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to care

  • Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and therapeutic support when needed

  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

  • Collaborate closely with nursing, medical, behavioral health, and case management teams

  • Connect patients with appropriate resources and ongoing levels of care

  • Maintain professional, ethical, and regulatory standards of practice

What We’re Looking For
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field

  • Active professional license required; applicable licenses may include LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent based on state requirements

  • Previous behavioral health experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with crisis stabilization, serious mental illness, substance use, or co-occurring disorders is a plus

  • Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills

  • Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and clinically focused when working with individuals experiencing challenging or high-acuity situations

  • Comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary treatment team
