Adecco US, Inc. in Mesa, AZ seeks a Part-Time Licensed Counselor to join our behavioral health team. The role offers a flexible schedule and meaningful, client-centered clinical work with individuals experiencing mental health and substance use concerns.
You will conduct assessments, provide counseling, crisis support, and develop individualized treatment plans within a multidisciplinary team, applying trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches while maintaining compliant documentation.
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Licensed Counselor to join a well-established behavioral health organization on a part-time basis.
This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working directly with individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, and complex behavioral health needs. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide assessments, counseling, crisis support, and individualized treatment in an environment where your clinical judgment and ability to connect with patients truly matter.
Provide individual and/or group counseling services based on patient needs
Complete behavioral health assessments and contribute to individualized treatment planning
Support individuals experiencing mental health crises, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions
Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to care
Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and therapeutic support when needed
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate closely with nursing, medical, behavioral health, and case management teams
Connect patients with appropriate resources and ongoing levels of care
Maintain professional, ethical, and regulatory standards of practice
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
Active professional license required; applicable licenses may include LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent based on state requirements
Previous behavioral health experience strongly preferred
Experience with crisis stabilization, serious mental illness, substance use, or co-occurring disorders is a plus
Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to remain calm, compassionate, and clinically focused when working with individuals experiencing challenging or high-acuity situations
Comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary treatment team
