A leading national substance abuse organization in Fair Lawn is seeking a Mental Health Counselor for their Intensive Outpatient Counseling program. Duties / Responsibilities

• New patient intake and orientation
• Conduct initial assessment of patient problems and needs and report to clinical team to initiate treatment planning
• Conduct individual sessions
• Facilitate groups with patients
• Address patient concerns and help eliminate the possibility of AMA
• Provide case management
• Provide tours for prospective patients and their families as requested
• Document in patient medical record

Requirements

• Must have one of the following: LAC, LPC, LSW or LCSW
• Mental Health license or certification, clean and active

Schedule

• Full Time
• Tuesday - Friday 11:30am - 8:00pm
• Saturday 9:00am - 5:30pm

Compensation

Hourly rate competitive with experience and location.
